Ratan Ramroop from Punjab Kidney Survivor

Hi, my name is Ratan Ramroop, from Punjab, and this is my journey of overcoming my kidney dialysis and living a normal life. During my college days, I got introduced to a bad company of friends and started smoking very early. With time my smoking addiction increased, and it almost became impossible for me to stop it.

Within eight years, I experienced fatal symptoms of kidney failure. I ignored it in the hope that I’ll be back to normal in some time. After a point in time, I started experiencing swellings and unconditional pain. I had an idea that it had something to do with my kidney; hence I got myself diagnosed.

My doctors explained how excessive smoking has resulted in the thickening of my blood. My kidneys did not receive enough blood. My creatinine levels were double the average. My family doctor suggested I get my dialysis done ASAP because this might result in something serious.

Even though I saw that accepting dialysis was a big deal for me, this would have affected my entire life. That is when I came across karma Ayurveda and booked an appointment with dr. Puneet Dhawan. Within a week, I visited the hospital. Dr. Puneet was very humble and explained the core of my disease and how I could counter it without getting any dialysis done.

I gave Ayurveda two months of my life with the simple condition that if this does not work, I will get my dialysis done. Thankfully giving those two months was the best decision; now, my creatinine levels are in the single digits.
