Is Ayurveda better than Allopathy?

Ayurveda and Allopathy are the two different forms of science helping human beings get rid of their health problems. Ayurveda was discovered more than 5,000 years ago in India. It is followed in India and many other countries also use this form of science in their system, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine.

As per Ayurveda, every plant has some medicinal value that can be used to treat the body. Ayurveda is a permanent cure and the best part is that the medicines prepared with the use of herbs and spices lay no side effects. Ayurveda focuses on the causes of the disease and cures it internally. It also helps to repair damaged cells and tissues so that the disease does not occur again.

On the other hand, allopathy has a novice existence. It was introduced in India and practices across the world. It is a method of suppressing the signs and effects of the disease. There are allopathic drugs that help to cure the disease. Many pharmaceuticals companies discovered antibiotics that can cure the disease quickly and provide rapid relief unlike Ayurveda which slowly gives results, but permanent ones.

Here are some of the key differences between Ayurveda and Allopathy:

Permanent cure: Ayurveda is believed to be a permanent cure because it removes all the bacteria from the body. Various Ayurvedic remedies include leading a better lifestyle and changing dietary habits in order to improve overall health. Allopathy also destroys all the form of the germs but does not ensure a permanent recovery.

Side-effects: Ayurvedic medicines are made from the combination of rare herbs which without any negative effect proffers the best of the health. The medicines are made from the extracts of fruits, vegetables, spices known to have no side effects. But in allopathy, certain chemical compounds in the medicine may interfere with the working of the other organs and harm the body. It does not mean that they do not provide relief, they do, but with some effects.

Ingredients: Ayurvedic medicines are made from the natural ingredients while on the other hand allopathic medicines are made from the chemicals. Ayurvedic medicines are made with a proper natural procedure. Allopathic medicines are made in the laboratories using chemicals.

Cures chronic disease: Ayurvedic medicines are effective in curing chronic diseases related to the liver, kidney, stomach, etc. The body’s cells and tissues get revived and a person can feel the best of the health with the ayurvedic medicines. Allopathy cannot cure the disease permanently as the symptoms relapse after ages.

Less expensive: Ayurvedic medicines are less expensive and cheaper than allopathic medicines. Ayurvedic medicines are safe and provide relief in the pain and cure the symptoms of the disease. Allopathic medicines are not very expensive and allergic to some as well. These are made from the chemicals which may pose a threat to the person.

Approach: Ayurveda uses the approach that for good health there should be a balance between the mind, body, and soul. Also, a balance between the tri doshas is important for the vitality of the body. These tri doshas are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Allopathy has no such philosophy instead, the symptoms are diagnosed and medicines are prescribed to the patients.

Environmental-friendly: Ayurvedic medicines are environment friendly because they are made from the natural products that do not harm the environment in any way. Ayurveda focuses on saving the forest, trees, and atmosphere from the chemical pollution, so environment-friendly. Allopathic medicines are made from the chemicals so they may not be environment-friendly.

Profession or service: Ayurveda renders service to the patients by helping them improve their health. They provide social service more rather than professionalism. Allopathy has now become a profession in which everyone wants to make money.
